Having completed her BDS and MDS(Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery) from the prestigious AB Shetty Dental College, Mangalore, she was the academic topper of the University and was the Gold Medalist in every subject of the curriculum in Bachelor of Dental Surgery  and also the  University Gold Medalist at the Masters of Dental Surgery.
